Specialty women's care

In addition to the standard women's services listed above, we are pleased to provide you access to specialty women's care, including:

Breast care

Whether it's time for your annual mammogram or you need a diagnostic exam for a breast lump, we can help. We are connected to breast centers that offer compassionate staff and comprehensive breast health services.

Gynecology

The gynecologists and OB/GYNs within our gynecology program focus on the prevention, detection and treatment of gynecologic diseases and disorders. From urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse to endometriosis and gynecologic cancer, we offer care for all types of gynecologic and urogynecologic conditions.

Infertility treatment

If you're trying to conceive but having trouble getting pregnant, our specialists can help. They understand there are many factors that contribute to conception, and they can help determine if infertility may be one of them.

Our women's health specialists offer evaluation, counsel and testing for fertility concerns. If infertility is the reason you're unable to get pregnant, we provide a range of options to help improve the likelihood of conception.

Midwifery

Our certified nurse midwives (CNMs) offer complete midwifery services, which span across women's health care. Your CNM can provide well-woman exams, primary care services as well as comprehensive maternity care.

Maternity care

Pregnancy and birth are wondrous life experiences, and we consider it our privilege to care for and support you during this exciting time. However, we understand you may feel more than just excitement—perhaps nervousness too. That's why we are here to support you throughout your journey to motherhood.

Prenatal care

Our OB/GYNs and midwives provide prenatal care to help you and your baby stay healthy during pregnancy. To do this, your OB/GYN or midwife will have regular appointments with you during pregnancy, in which they will monitor you and the baby and help you create your birth plan.

High-risk pregnancy care

Hearing you have a high-risk pregnancy may alarm you. However, it really just means that we want to provide you with extra monitoring and care during pregnancy to ensure your and your baby's safety.

Your pregnancy could be deemed high risk because of preexisting conditions (such as Lupus) or conditions that arise during pregnancy and affect you and/or your baby (such as high blood pressure).

Regardless of your condition, our maternal-fetal medicine specialists—also called perinatologists or high-risk pregnancy doctors—provide excellent care. They will partner with you and your prenatal care provider throughout pregnancy and childbirth.

Labor and delivery services

Our OB/GYNs, midwives and high-risk pregnancy doctors partner with some of the best hospitals in Florida for labor and delivery. When it's time for delivery—or when your water breaks—you'll go to the hospital you and your provider have designated, and they will care for you there.

Your provider is supported by the hospital's labor and delivery staff, which includes highly trained nurses and anesthesiologists. The hospitals are also equipped with the amenities and resources you need for a comfortable childbirth experience, from natural pain relief methods to 24-hour epidural access.

Postpartum care

After you give birth to your baby, you will typically remain in the hospital for a day or two, unless we need to monitor you for a longer period of time. This portion of your hospital stay is called postpartum care.

During this time, your provider will check in on you and partner with the hospital's postpartum care staff to ensure a smooth recovery from childbirth. The postpartum care team is also available to care for your baby when you need to rest and help you learn to care for your baby with confidence.

After you are discharged from the hospital, we are still here to support you in any way we can. You and your provider will set a date for your postpartum checkup. However, you do not need to wait until your postpartum appointment if you have questions or concerns. We're always only a call away.
